In BGS’s system, a 9.5 grade earns the Gem Mint label, while the even rarer 10.0 is designated as “Pristine.” A Gem Mint card exhibits sharp corners, clean edges, a flawless surface free from scratches or print defects, and centering that falls within the grading company’s tightest tolerances.
